1Information We Collect

Phone Number and Account Information

Golden Hour currently uses a mobile telephone number as the primary method for creating and authenticating a consumer account.

We collect the telephone number you provide and information necessary to verify and maintain your account, including authentication records, account identifiers, account status, and related security information.

We may use an SMS service provider to send verification codes or other transactional messages related to your account.

Golden Hour does not currently require a consumer to provide a name, email address, or demographic profile as part of standard account registration.

If you voluntarily provide additional information when contacting customer support or otherwise communicating with us, we may collect the information you choose to provide.

Usage and Product Interaction Information

We collect information necessary to operate the Golden Hour experience.

This may include information about:

• detailed event pages you access;
• the number of Views used and remaining;
• free-tier usage;
• subscription status and subscription tier;
• View Pack purchases and remaining View Pack balance;
• events or other items you add to a plan, favorites list, or similar feature;
• account actions such as registration, login, logout, and deletion; and
• other interactions necessary to operate and improve the Service.

Purchase Information

If you purchase a Golden Hour subscription or View Pack, we may receive information concerning the transaction, such as the product purchased, transaction identifier, purchase date, subscription status, renewal status, and entitlement information.

When payment is processed by Apple or another third-party payment processor, that provider processes your payment credentials under its own privacy practices.

Golden Hour does not receive or store your complete payment-card number when the payment provider processes that information without providing it to us.

Device and Technical Information

When you use an online service, our servers and technology providers may automatically receive technical information necessary to deliver, secure, and troubleshoot the Service.

Depending on Golden Hour's implementation, this information may include IP address, browser type, device type, operating system, application version, timestamps, authentication logs, network information, crash information, and diagnostic information.

Location Information

Golden Hour does not collect precise device location unless the Service expressly requests permission to use a location-based feature.

2How We Use Information

We use information collected through Golden Hour to:

• create and authenticate accounts;
• send account-verification and security messages;
• provide event discovery and planning functionality;
• administer free Views, subscriptions, and View Packs;
• remember items users add to their plans;
• process and verify purchase entitlements;
• protect against fraud, abuse, unauthorized access, and manipulation of View balances;
• maintain, troubleshoot, and secure the Service;
• provide customer support;
• understand and improve the performance and usability of the Service;
• enforce our Terms of Use; and
• comply with applicable legal obligations.

We do not currently use personal information to build advertising profiles or deliver third-party targeted advertising.

3SMS Verification

Golden Hour may send SMS messages for account verification, authentication, security, or other transactional account purposes.

The telephone number used for your account may be shared with an SMS communications provider solely as necessary to deliver and manage those messages.

Golden Hour does not currently use the telephone number provided for account registration to send promotional SMS marketing unless the user separately provides any consent required for such marketing.

Wireless-carrier message and data rates may apply.

4How We Share Information

Golden Hour does not disclose personal information simply because an event appears in the Service or because you click a third-party event link.

We may disclose information to the following categories of recipients when reasonably necessary:

Service Providers

We may use service providers that assist with services such as SMS verification, cloud hosting, database infrastructure, authentication, security, analytics, customer support, application performance, or payment processing.

These providers may process information on our behalf only as reasonably necessary to provide their services and subject to appropriate contractual or legal protections.

Payment Platforms

Apple or another payment provider may process purchases and provide Golden Hour with transaction and entitlement information needed to provide paid features.

Legal and Safety Purposes

We may disclose information when we reasonably believe disclosure is necessary to comply with law, legal process, enforce our agreements, investigate fraud or security issues, protect users, or protect the rights and safety of Golden Hour or others.

Business Transactions

If Golden Hour is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, restructuring, bankruptcy, sale of assets, or similar corporate transaction, information may be transferred as part of that transaction subject to applicable law.

5Advertising, Sale of Data, and Tracking

As of the Effective Date, Golden Hour does not sell personal information and does not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.

Golden Hour does not currently use personal information collected through the Service to provide third-party targeted advertising.

Our business practices may evolve. If Golden Hour introduces materially different advertising, tracking, or data-sharing practices, we will update this Privacy Policy and provide any notices, consent mechanisms, or opt-out choices required by applicable law before using information in that manner.

6Cookies and Similar Technologies

The Golden Hour website may use cookies, local storage, authentication tokens, or similar technologies that are necessary to keep users signed in, maintain security, remember preferences, prevent fraud, and operate the Service.

If Golden Hour introduces non-essential analytics, advertising, or similar technologies requiring additional disclosure or consent, we will update our practices and notices as appropriate.

7Third-Party Event Websites

Golden Hour contains links to websites and services operated by event organizers, venues, ticketing providers, merchants, and other third parties.

When you follow one of these links, you leave Golden Hour and the third party may collect information directly from you.

Golden Hour does not control the privacy practices of independent third-party websites. Their privacy policies, terms, cookies, payment practices, and other rules apply to your interaction with them.

We encourage you to review those policies before providing information or making a purchase.

8Data Retention

Golden Hour retains account information for as long as reasonably necessary to operate your account and provide the Service.

When you delete your account, Golden Hour will delete or de-identify account information that is no longer reasonably necessary.

9Account Deletion and Privacy Requests

You may initiate deletion of your Golden Hour account through the account settings or other deletion functionality provided within the Service.

Deleting your account does not necessarily cancel an active subscription purchased through Apple or another third-party payment platform. Subscription cancellation must be completed through the applicable payment provider.

Depending on where you live, applicable privacy law may provide rights concerning your personal information, which may include rights to request access, correction, deletion, or a copy of certain information, and rights relating to certain forms of data sharing.

We may take reasonable steps to verify that a request relates to the correct account before completing it.

We will not discriminate against you for exercising a privacy right provided by applicable law.

10Children

Golden Hour is intended for users who are at least 13 years old.

Golden Hour does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

If we learn that a child under 13 has provided personal information to Golden Hour, we will take reasonable steps to delete that information.

A parent or guardian who believes a child under 13 has created a Golden Hour account may contact us at goldenhouradmin@gmail.com.

11Security

Golden Hour uses reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration, or disclosure.

No internet-based service or storage system can guarantee absolute security.

You should protect access to the mobile telephone number used to authenticate your Golden Hour account.

12International Use

Golden Hour's systems and service providers may process information in the United States and other countries in which Golden Hour or its providers operate.

If applicable law requires specific protections for international data transfers, Golden Hour will use appropriate mechanisms for those transfers.

13Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as Golden Hour evolves.

If we make material changes, we may provide notice through the Service or by another reasonable method.

The Effective Date at the beginning of this Privacy Policy indicates when the current version became effective.
